My four year old daughter’s preschool class recently had a visit from the local dentist.
The dentist brought a giant toothbrush and demonstrated proper brushing technique on a kid-approved stuffed dragon doll.
She also taught them about cavities and the importance brushing their teeth twice a day.
My daughter came home with a new toothbrush, some toothpaste, a sand timer, and bubblegum flavored dental floss.
So far the struggle to brush her teeth continues, but there have been some small signs of progress.
For example, tonight she asked me if she could use the floss (her cute little baby teeth are spaced far enough apart that nothing could ever get stuck in between them).
The dentist taught her it’s to get the taste bugs out.
Yes, sweetheart. Go get those nasty taste bugs out.
